We always like to try and support recognised charities where possible and wish Peter Hill all the best in his 5000 mile coastal walk as he spends a well earned night at Grange Farm Campsite whilst raising money for Spinal Injuries Association www.GBcoastwalk.com
The beach in Frinton is best enjoyed in October – it’s a beautiful day today
The reviews keep coming in…….”The site has a number of fields; we stayed on the Club Field. We don’t fancy driving much, so made good use of the nearby station to go to the coast and to the city of Colchester. The countryside around the site is very beautiful. There is a couple of miles for easy dog-walking around the site. The facilities on the Club Field were good, clean and adequate. Hot showers and hot water for hand-wash all worked well. Brilliant holiday – would recommend it to everybody. To cap it all the owner gave us a generous supply of fresh vegetables from their kitchen garden (I suppose we came at the right time of year)”
Another happy camper leaving another good review “Spacious pitches, lots of wildlife, thoughtful benches, great dog walking, lovely staff, village within walking distance with lots of pubs and a Tesco Express”
On entrance to the campsite the security is excellent with the owner being very approachable and friendly. The shower and toilet block were very clean with a very good supply of toilet roll and soap. The campsite was very well laid out with decent paths separating the fields. We felt very safe and happy within the site and the distance to the local village and surrounding attractions is not to be complained at; there were several leaflets in the ladies toilets that came in very useful.
