Coronavirus (Covid-19) – Update 5th June 2020
THERE IS SOME EXCITING SPECULATION WITHIN THE CARAVAN AND CAMPING INDUSTRY AROUND THE MUCH ANTICIPATED REOPENING DATE FROM THE GOVERNMENT WHICH APPEARS SO FAR TO BE 4TH JULY 2020. WE ARE HOPING AND AIMING TO REOPEN 13TH JULY 2020 PENDING THE GOVERNMENTS DECISION.
Due to the Coronavirus pandemic, Grange Farm Campsite remains closed until further notice and we continue to follow the direction provided by the government. “Essential travel does not include visits to second homes, campsites, caravan parks or similar. People should remain in their primary residence”.
All bookings up to July 12th 2020 are cancelled.
If you have a pitch booked, we will contact you directly in due course. If you have immediate concerns, please contact us by email at email@example.com and quote your booking reference number. For bookings up to July 12th 2020 we will offer to move your booking to 2021 with a credit voucher to the value of your booking or we will offer a refund (minus card provider/booking agent fees). We will work through all affected bookings in date order.
We have already been in contact with all guests with a booking in June 2020.
Bookings from 13th July 2020 – 31st August 2020
We will be in contact with all customers with bookings within these dates to explain the required changes on site and make sure you are happy to continue with your booking. If you have concerns, you will be offered the chance to take a full credit voucher to use in 2021 or a full refund (minus card provider/booking agent fees).
Bookings from 1st August 2020
Customers with bookings from 1st August 2020 will also be contacted to explain the required changes on site and any concerns can be discussed. Opening is still pending government approval.
Changes to the campsite for 2020 until further notice
Please ensure you read about the changes on site before booking as proceeding means that you have accepted and no refunds will be given (normal refund conditions apply).
All outside booking agents that we use will issue a transfer but will not refund deposits.
All washrooms are closed.
With regret no shower blocks or toilet blocks will be open.
We will not be taking any tents, trailer tents or small campervans.
All units must have their own kitchen, washing/toilet and shower facilities to remain self-contained.
Electric, water and waste disposal are provided.
All pitches are a minimum of 2 metres apart and we ask that all units pitch exactly where we say to maintain social distancing rules.
No visitors will be allowed on to the site.
We regret that these changes have had to be introduced to maintain strict hygiene and social distancing requirements as per government guidelines.
We would like to thank all our customers in advance for your understanding during these difficult and challenging times, we wish you and your families good health and hope to see you very soon.
