Trains
The railway station at Thorpe le Soken is an easy walk from the campsite and there are local trains to Clacton on Sea, Frinton on Sea, Walton on the Naze, Weeley, Great Bentley, Alresford, Wivenhoe, Colchester and beyond through to London Liverpool Street.
By changing train at Colchester you can access the lines to Ipswich in Suffolk and Norwich in Norfolk.
BUSES
The local bus network through Thorpe le Soken connects with buses running from Colchester through to Frinton on Sea and Walton on the Naze. The other route is from Harwich through to Clacton on Sea.

FERRY
The Ferry between Harwich and the Hook of Holland is operated by Stena Line.
The ferry currently runs twice a day with both daytime and overnight sailings and takes only 6 hours and 15 minutes which makes it the shortest crossing between the UK and Holland
The ferry offers various onboard amenities such as restaurants, bars, cabins, and entertainment options to make the journey more comfortable.
The Ferry currently departs:
Harwich at 9am (10am Sundays) and 11.15pm and arrive in Holland at 4.45pm and 7.45am, local time.
The Hook of Holland at 2.30pm and 10.30pm(9.30pm Saturdays & Sundays) and arrive back in the UK 8pm and 6.30am local time.
