There are lots of independent shops in the area offering a wide variety of goods to cater for your beach requirements, clothing, jewellery, gifts, antiques, outdoor gear, camping equipment and much more.
In Thorpe-le-Soken we have a much smaller range of shops but we have two good jewellers, a ladies clothing shop, a barbers, hairdressers and beauticians, a pharmacy and a Tesco Express store open from 6 am to 11pm 7 days a week.
The main Tesco superstore is situated on Brook Retail Park, where you will also find B&Q, PC World and various fast-food outlets.
Morrisons have a modern superstore sited nearer to the campsite on Centenary Way in Little Clacton which is not far from the Clacton Shopping Village which offers a wide range of stores at factory prices.
There is also and Aldi store and an M&S Food Hall a Tesco Express and a Coop in Walton-on-the-Naze and The Coop has a Store at The Triangle in Frinton and a smaller store on Connaught Avenue in Frinton. Frinton also has a Sainsbury Local on Connaught Avenue
